Letherbee Vernal Gin Summer 2017 Apple Palate: grapefruitLetherbee Vernal is a Southeast Asia inspired gin, loaded with flavors indictative of summer. Notes of lemongrass, mint, and citrus. Holy basil and raw ginger are pronounced on the first sip, then fade into the mustardy galangal (spicey root in the ginger family) mid palate. Expect creamy almond, savory long pepper, and crisp lemon peel on the finish. Bottled at 96 proof, makes a great Bloody Mary or a tropical Mai Tai.
