"Bannisons la Mammite!" print (1960) Size:24x36" Given my collection of raspberry-related"Mammite" in English is "mastitis," a term any breastfeeding mother knows and fears. In the Department of Agriculture, they were concerned with it as it relates to cattle: they made three different cattle mastitis related covers in a twenty year period, reusing the same concept but applying a slightly different aesthetic. This is my favourite of the three, reminiscent of El Lissitsky's 1919 suprematist masterpiece Beat the Whites with the Red Wedge.
