I do know that the new curado 300 have no micromodule gear and utilize vbs brakes.I would wish shimano step it up and do micromodule and svs on the new curado 300 instead.The tranx 300 is fairly smooth.But it does sits high as well.About time Daiwa put out a good swimbait reel
