The beautifully illustrated, first edition book was written by Frederick J. Forster and illustrated by Uldene Trippe. Published by Rand Mcnally; 1924. Over 100 color illustrations and plates with wonderful children's verse on every page. The hardcover book features a color plate on the front cover by illustrator, Milo Winter. In very good vintage condition with 1928 inscription in ink. Bumped and
